Curious about our name? "Thunderhawk" was inspired by a memorable summer day when one of our founders and his three kids were caught in a thunderstorm out on a Colorado reservoir, cruising in a 1965 Larson All American runabout. The boat's silver logo, shaped like a hawk, led the kids to lovingly dub it "Thunderhawk." Just like that boat, we aim to bring joy and reliability to your home improvement projects.
